Our first MKN Advisory Panel Institute was a success! Our 12 university partners and 7 community partners met at the Fields Institute to discuss their knowledge mobilization/implementation plans.
MKN-AP Institute participants represented AECEO, AFEMO, Brock University, CSC Providence, FNMIEAO, GECDSB, KNAER, Lakehead University, Laurentian University, MOE, Nipissing University, OAME, OISE (University of Toronto), OMCA, OPC, Queen’s University, TDSB, Trent University, TVO, University of Windsor, Western University, Wilfrid Laurier University, and YRDSB.
Over the 2 days, our 4 Communities of Practice formed:
- Mathematics Leadership
- Critical Transition in Mathematics Education
- Indigenous Knowledge and Mathematics Education
- Computational Thinking in Mathematics Education
