Network Growth
The MKN has grown to include over 12 school districts, 13 universities, and 16 community organizations.
Communities of Practice Activities
At the first MKN Advisory Panel meeting on February 27 & 28, 2017, CoPs met and started planning for Year 1 (Nov 2016 – Aug 2017). To date, all MOUs, implementation plans, and budget plans have been approved for Year 1. CoP activities are now underway!

Our first MKN Advisory Panel Institute was a success! Our 12 university partners and 7 community partners met at the Fields Institute to discuss their knowledge mobilization/implementation plans.
MKN-AP Institute participants represented AECEO, AFEMO, Brock University, CSC Providence, FNMIEAO, GECDSB, KNAER, Lakehead University, Laurentian University, MOE, Nipissing University, OAME, OISE (University of Toronto), OMCA, OPC, Queen’s University, TDSB, Trent University, TVO, University of Windsor, Western University, Wilfrid Laurier University, and YRDSB.
